A bit difficult to even think about a blip today after the events of last night when the police helicopter crashed into the Clutha Bar.

As I write this eight people are confirmed dead.

I've been to that bar a few times although not for some years now. So relieved to get a reassuring text from a family member who could well have gone there but was about half a mile away.

The Police Helicopter was a familiar sight around the city and in particular that area around the river Clyde. In fact just over ago I Blipped the helicopter.

My thoughts are with all those involved and impacted by it.
