Moorhen

I would have said this was a coot with a red beak. Seems they are related. We spent most of the day painting our living room walls, which were previously covered (and I mean covered) with crayon. In between coats, we walked in the park, which, I might add, has a William Morris gallery! ? And a moat! ? The moorhen was in the moat.
