Treasures

A day at home today. I've made a big pot of spicy red cabbage from a precious recipe of the mother of a friend, and tried out a new recipe for a squash soup (also spicy) both for the freezer. I made some Christmas cards as well. None of these were really suitable for blipping so I took a quick shot of a large glass vase which lives near the door, which contains fossils, gemstones and other rocks and pebbles collected on our travels.
