A first for my yard!

I have seen the Pileated Woodpecker in Florida and even in mid-Michigan...but not in my yard!!

We drove home from our son's house this morning so Al could get some work done before the family arrives this afternoon. We are having our Thankgiving meal tonight at our daughter's, and then company all weekend, so commenting will be sparse!

I went out to get a reflection of my "one tree" and instead the blip gods sent me this fellow!! One more reason to be thankful.
