Los Algodones, Mexico has made a name for itself for more than leather goods and silver jewellry. Retirees, from Canada and the US, make the trek across the Mexican border seeking affordable eye glasses and dental work. The dentists and optometrists in this town advertise regularly in the newspapers and on television stations of the adjoining American towns.

D and I will make several trips here as he gets his dental work done over several days.
