Cake

One great advantage of performing a tea concert is that there is cake. It went well today. Cath was brilliant, the audience appreciative, lots of money was raised, and great heaped mouthfuls of sandwiches and scones and cakes were consumed. The concerts may not affect the Great Scheme of Things in any very major way, but everyone comes out feeling better and warmer towards their fellow beings.
