OUR FIRST OWL PELLETS

Last night, long after dark, I disturbed a barn owl. It must have been somewhere high up in the hay barn - I heard a whoosh and just caught sight of its white underside with my torch beam as it swooped off into the night. This morning I checked everything at ground level below the new barn owl box and sure enough found several owl pellets (as well as a lot of white droppings) - not quite directly under the box but evidence for sure that an owl is hanging out near our barn owl box. Yippeee.
