I worked hard this morning trying to make a little space for this, a trip to collect some leeks and all because It's A Beautiful Day!

I can't stop enjoying nothing much these days. At a time when most people have some rubbish or a ridiculous amount of stress I am reminded that just a smile and a little tune in your head may be all it takes to turn it round, even for a moment (and even if it entails Michael Buble in your ear). It may not remove the things we are all coping with but it will allow you just a little head space and perhaps a different outlook - even for just a moment.

These leeks are destined for the pot along with some of the potatoes that I am still digging up. Leek and tattie soup - oh what a beautiful day.
