Kilty Tree

A forest of peedie xmas trees have popped up in Kirkwall town centre. The businesses have all got small potted trees and are having a competition to decorate them. Some have gone for simple and classy and others have gone for themes that demonstrate what they do.

One of the pubs has decorations made from beer mats, a hair dresser has decorated theirs with rollers and topped it off with a tiara wearing mannequin head (surreal but fabulous), a dentist has covered theirs in glitter decorated paper molars made by the local Brownies and this one in my pic is from a jewellery shop that also does kilt hire.

It's all making the town very festive.
