Waffle burger

I met my friend for dinner and we went to this cafe that specializes in waffles, in a town famous for hamburgers- this is the result.

The Sasebo Burger is famous in Kyushu, even attracting people from the other islands. I imagine it has something to do with the US naval base also being located there, but you never know. The top too famous burger shops are Hikaru and Log Kit. (Yes, Log Kit...) however there are many delicious burger shops around and they are all equally messy, but different.

A couple teachers were talking the other day about they wouldn't go on a date to a sasebo burger restaurant because it's so messy, they'd be too embarrassed. The usual toppings include "bacon," egg, lettuce and tomato.

This waffle burger was pretty sweet, understandably, but pretty good.
