The Sound of Music, Strangely

Our food co-op sponsors live local music during the busy shopping days before Thanksgiving and Christmas, and today I was fortunate to be there when Strangely Doesburg was the featured performer on the "stage" atop of the dairy and juice cooler.

Strangely is one of my favorite Bellingham musicians and entertainers, and I never grow tired of the shows he puts on as one of the buskers at the Bellingham Farmers Market. Some of you may remember him from this blip of almost a year ago.

His songs and banter drew smiles from a number of shoppers today and provided a welcome brief respite from the pressures of pre-Thanksgiving food shopping.
