I must again apologise for the very late entry, I think that tiredness overcame me once again but I am sure it was the mental release of my civil litigation advocacy assessment being over.

With little time to prepare, the case papers only being received on Thursday last week for a presentation this evening it was a busy weekend of research, drafting and redrafting until I had a submission for my motion that I was happy with. I rehearsed it, edited, rehearsed again and refined what I was going to say until I was comfortable. The great unknown was how the Sheriff would react and how any questioning he decided to make of my argument would go, A question on a point of law, on the authority being cited in support of my motion; all the eventualities considered, but still a nervousness nonetheless. In a flash it appeared to be over, motion craved, questions answered, Sheriff satisfied, an me, well I felt very pleased with my delivery...

Nothing out of the ordinary today, the rains returned later in the day but the weather was so much milder than in the past few days. I was disappointed, , the hard hoar frosts have brought with them beautiful light but today that was less evident as the cloud quickly gathered so ,y saviour is a little friend from the garden, I hope you enjoy his cheeky demeanour and his beautiful colours as enjoyed watching him and hearing his song.
