Haar Heaven

The frost was thick this morning and early morning brought more freezing fog. The day changed, brightening and the warmth burning of the haar that hung like a blanket over our river.

My blues were vanquished thanks to the kind words and support that came from my friend. I felt pretty flat having unburdened myself, I cannot tell you how much I appreciate how they make me feel better about myself no matter how low I go. We share a love of music and no matter the mood listening to tunes always lifts me and so it was this morning. I had managed to finish all of my submissions for uni last night so chose to use my early morning to enjoy just listening to some quiet music, my mind drifting to thoughts of times and places that I love to recall.

Today our river was majestic, the hard hoar frost glistening on the grasses on the links, leading the viewer in to the photograph. I hope you enjoy the shot and I hope the frost stays and gives more of these beautiful crisp clear mornings.... Enjoy
