Sunrise to Sunset

The reservoir that you see here was where the Dambusters used to practise launching the Bouncing bomb in their Lancaster Bomber in WWII.
They still fly the Lancaster over here to celebrate important anniversaries and memorials.

I had just cycled around this along the tops of the hills. It was roughly 12 miles in all, some tough rocky, loose and sometimes muddy riding up some steep hills.

It was well worth the effort for the views and the downhill sections.
