This Monkeys Gone to Heaven...

Last night was spent at a gig at the Manchester Apollo watching the cult band Pixies, heroes from my youth and still probably my favourite of all time.

Kim Deal has left, but the new bass player Kim Shattock was just as good as her replacement.

The 2 hour set featured a myriad of their classic tunes, they jus kept rolling them out, getting better and louder with each one until the frenzy of Vamos when Joey Santiago almost blew the roof off the place with an astonishing display of guitar skills and effects.

To top it off, I found 20 quid!!! Bonus! Almost covered the ticket price.

What a night!!! AWESOME!!
