PRETTIER TODAY

There are always so many plain, brown birds in the yard – ten times as many as the colorful birds, but they usually wouldn’t make a pretty image for blipping. They blend in so well with the trees & dried leaves in the background. Today this little round bird sat awhile in the boxwood – the greenery provided just enough color to spice it up a bit. I don’t know what kind of bird it is – it might be either a sparrow or a female goldfinch. (If you know its name, please let me know.) There hasn’t been an extra minute today for taking lots of pictures, so Ms. Plain Jane will be my blip choice.
