Sunset over Roslin.

We were looking after Hamish today, most of the time he was happy pottering in the garden with us. I took a few pictures of seed heads on various plants but, eventually, the dogs needed to go for a walk.
We saw this sunset just as we were returning, being in a hurry as Sunday is cinema evening I didn't have the time to let the colours mature properly. I had the problem of, either having another garden close-up or making the best of the sunset, I chose the latter.

We showed the 1982 version of "The Thing" this evening, a cult horror film set in Antarctica. Apart from it being a for-runner, both in plot and cinematic technique, of "The Alien" films it did not have much to commend it.
