Coppicing

Tess & I went for a walk on the RSPB Reserve at Ham Wall this morning; after yesterday's comments about how we'd shifted a lot of logs, I rather liked this shot of the rangers' coppicing activities. A very grey day, so I've heightened the colours a bit!

Fairly quiet on the birdlife front until I put the camera away when, typically, a swan flew in just over our heads.
