The Challenge

This morning, His Lordship and I felt obliged to rise to the challenge issued yesterday by certain blippers regarding the Star Flyer in St Andrew Square.

In fact we rose all of 200 feet as we flew over the roof tops in rimy air under blue skies with a 360 degree view of the city; Fife to the north hidden behind a blanket of haar settled on the Forth.

We had the ride to ourselves, so early was it. I have to admit to feeling a bit nervous beforehand, but it was thrilling and I never closed my eyes once, honest!
In fact we enjoyed it so much, we will go back again when we have saved up our pocket money- there were no concessions for bus pass holders and we thought it quite an expensive thrill for the time we were airborne, but then we are a bit out of touch with fairground style prices.
