Then face Costco. Arrive just after opening and fill the wife's car with gas. Only $3.45/gallon ~65p/litre. Cheap even for SoCal prices! Buy a huge apple pie and some other turkey day based consumables. Love the fact they have random things in there everytime you go and you are never sure if they will be there next time you go. Decided to turn down bear's survival kit although did notice it included a hotel door key card (any takers?).....

Costco is good if you want bulk items, everything is $10 or over so even a few items it adds up. We tend to buy bog roll, detergents and meat there. Then perishables like fruit and veg from the local supermarket as the two of us find it difficult to munch through 30 bananas or 20kg of spuds.

Home to watch chargers clinch an important victory against the chiefs with a touchdown in the last few seconds. The lead changed hands 8 times during the game a record since 2011 as the stat happy yanks like to point out.
