Why did the sheep cross the road?
Because the chicken was off duty!

The above joke (I know, it's dreadful, sorry!) seemed to fit the photo but will be utterly meaningless to anyone who doesn't know the original joke... (why did the chicken cross the road? - to get to the other side!)
I am also conscious of the fact that if you don't know that joke, you are probably not British... and if you're not British you probably won't find it funny...humour varies quite a lot from nation to nation! Anyway, I share it with you as an introduction to British humour... :)

I spotted this scene on my way over to take Mum out for her Sunday afternoon cake and coffee...it made me smile!
