Limelight..........
Today dawned quite bright and dry, but bitterly cold again. With this in mind I decided to go for a little trip down Horsham's historic Causeway to photograph the very photogenic St Mary the Virgin parish church which sits majestically at the end.
In my rush to get out and get the pics before the rain came, I took my Lumix with a 200mm zoom, and my Canon with a 50mm macro, quite forgetting to take my lovely wide angle which is so good for these kind of photographs.
So.....I decided to leave pictures of this beautiful church for another day and I am sure there will be many this winter and use my lumix with the zoom on to take some more 'interesting ' pictures.
When I checked through the shots I quite liked this one, the lime leaves that are left are a beautiful liquid yellow, and the lamp, perched on a plinth at the bottom of the causeway definitely looks the part and I quite like the church clock on the tower too.....
Please forgive me Historian31 I will blip the whole church soon, after all Mr U&L and I were married there!
