rafting, winter-style

This was taken on a little inlet that comes off Lake Michigan, as I stood freezing my butt (& my ears!) off in the biting, 14 degree wind! As you can see, there's already some ice forming on the water! There was a whole gaggle of geese floating in, & standing on, the ice there, but I'm holding fast to my rule not to photograph the little buggers, so I took this shot of the gull instead, peacefully floating on the little piece of ice, totally unconcerned with the cold! I really loved the crisp colors, & the little reflection of the gull in the water! Had to get my blip in early, as our Packers play at noon & need all the cheering they can get until Aaron Rodger's collarbone heals!! Go Pack!! :)
