Miss Charlotte

In the north wall of the chancel at St Peter's Chailey is a modern stained glass window by Margaret Traherne comprising three roundels. I've blipped at least one of them before but never this, the highest of the three. This depicts a view of the church from the south. The lady sitting in the churchyard is said to be Miss Charlotte Hepburn, sister of the Reverend Francis Robert Hepburn who was Rector of Chailey from 1851 to 1894.
