$%£@&^% Wardrobe

It always seems a few degrees colder at the allotment in winter. Just a couple of hours or tidying up (brought home parsnips, green stuff a few last miserable beetroot).

The afternoon was spent moving a wardrobe in the van for a friend. It had been sold to me as 'quite light' and 'mostly made of air', but we soon realised it wasn't light at all and couldn't get it down the stairs. Halfway down, we had to decide to take it apart, which we should have done at the start. Anyway, It took 4 hours in the end including the journey, and getting it up to the third floor and then reassembling, but it's good to have a good big favour in hand.
