Stovies

Taking advantage of a weekend alone, and because there were a few things I wanted to see there, I had a field trip to Aberdeen.

Saw all the stuff, and in the sunshine! - Fittie/Footdee, the glorious beach and the 'Merries', Old Aberdeen and the University (a pint and Stovies int the St Machair Bar (Why is/are stovies so delicious - when they/it are described they/it doesn't/don't sound that great, but on a cold day, served with beetroot and oatcakes they/it is/are just right). Then, after the Art Gallery, down around the river and harbour before retiring to see the first half of the rugby.
