Buchanan Street, Glasgow
This was taken about 1.15 pm, with the strong punch lighting coming from a very low sun. I was amazed to see so many people thronging this famous thoroughfare, and it would seem to bode well for a good Christmas shopping season.
We came up from Largs to have lunch with Gillipaw, whose journal I've enjoyed from nearly the start of my own time on Blip. We've been trying to arrange this first blip meet for a long time and, after some unlucky attempts, we were both determined to make it happen this visit, and I'm delighted we did!
It's always lovely to put a face to a name and talk not only about blip but many other things we have in common. Thanks, Gillipaw, for finding the time in your busy schedule and for a very enjoyable few hours!
