The hidden delights if Sheffield!

Who knew?! There's no cathedral or castle but the architecture in this city is pretty impressive. The town hall is gorgeous.
We arrived late morning and our friends that live here were ready to welcome us and show us the sights.
We had a lovely walk out to the Botanical Gardens, which was small but lovely in the autumn sunlight. The clouds were amazing - can anyone tell me what they're called?
We had a couple of sharing platters for lunch and later, found a pub willing to put the Saints rugby match on for us. Not the best match in the world as it turned out but a nice pint of Doombar. (Ok, two..!)
We're back in the hotel now having a coffee and flapjack ready for the evening's explorations!
Tomorrow we're going to see Jools Holland. :-)
