Essence of Blip
This picture shows what flower essences meant to me in life before Blip. Brown bottles with essences from flowers preserved in brandy. Taken on the tongue to release the mental beliefs, emotional angst or spiritual blocks that prevent people from living their lives with love, certainty and joy.
Life since Blip means I now know what the flowers behind the bottles look like and I am thinking about flower essences more often than ever before. Flower essences are my passion and joy, and giving myself permission to spend more time thinking and writing about them brings me more passion and joy. There's been lots of research to find out what the plants look like and sometimes I've made mistakes but I love learning.
Since I joined Blip 6 months ago flowers speak to me in new ways. Observing how a flower grows gives vital information about how the essence works so a new level of communication has started to open up between me and the flowers. My connection to nature has deepened - it anchors me to Mother Earth and fills my heart with joy.
My soul calls me to work with flower essences, and when I decided make more time to honour that through Blippery, my life got more aligned to my soul. So for the first time in my life I am truly happy to be here on Earth, engaging with its infinite beauty and possibilities.
Then there's the wonderful community of people that makes this site what it is. I see a glimpse into all of your worlds. You touch my soul, make me laugh, break my heart, resonate with me deeply, distract me delightfully, amaze me with your talents - there is all of human experience here, albeit the version that we edit for a public forum. There is creativity, love, joy and hope - there is anger, frustration, fear and self-doubt. There is banter and empathy. All that makes us human is displayed here and I love that.
So I thank you all for sharing yourselves, and for commenting so thoughtfully on my blips. I thank Joe and all the others who maintain this special community. I feel I know something of the essence of everyone I meet on Blip. For those of you I know and love in the real world, I get to know and love more of you through what you share here. Thank you one and all.
PS The orchid in this image fell off the plant when I was moving it last week so no plants have been intentionally harmed in the making of this Blip.
