#Lovember the 22nd

Winter skies.

I love the slow slow sun downs of late Autumn and Winter.

It was a gloriously sunny day today, but we didn't get to appreciate it. Richard's been ill all day with a stomach bug and I've been cleaning. (Partly because he's ill and partly because it needed doing). When I walked the dog this evening it reminded me of the horrid time we had last Winter with Richard's health.

We've just had a partial powercut at home and had to have an electrician come out. He was here until about 10:30pm. It's still not sorted and we've got a massive extension lead running through the sitting room, but at least the fridge and freezer are plugged back into the mains. He's coming back tomorrow morning.

I promised Tess we would make a Christmas cake tomorrow and haven't managed to buy the ingredients today, so I've just been doing an online grocery shop so we can get some stuff delivered tomorrow morning. This involved plugging in the broadband somewhere where the power does actually work and then frantically trying to check out before my time was up.

I hope Richard feels better tomorrow. It's totally rubbish when he's ill.
