New lego

Bean got a £10 note in his birthday card from one of his aunts and uncles. He has been begging me to take him to the shop with the toys in, to choose a toy. We went today at last! He chose some lego. It was the only thing we bought, the whole reason for going out today. He was so proud of himself. Choosing his lego, taking it to the til, handing the lady his money and getting his penny change.

We opened it when we got home and Bean and Bear had a grand old time looking at all the bits and following the instructions. We had a moment when we thought we'd lost a wheel already, scoured the floor for this wheel, and eventually asked Bear if he knew where it was.

He knew exactly where it was. Why on earth wouldn't he know that it was in the dip in the lid of one of the toy boxes?!
