Trimmed beech

The large beech tree at our gate is actually on our neighbours' land. This week they had the tree surgeons in to "raise the crown". This meant cutting out low branches that were hanging down over our gate and the road. The tree looks better for its trim and now we can see past it to the western sky and sunsets, hidden to us previously. We are surrounded by trees here and sometimes wish we could see more sky. This is a step in the right direction.
