There is snow in the hills
We were taken up to Braemar today. As we entered the Cairngorms we could see there was show in the hills. By the time we reached Braemar we had crossed the snow line, and the snow was at street level. We decided against venturing any further. The car park would have served well as an ice rink as it was covered with a sheen of ice which made walking out of the car park very difficult.
After a short visit we decided we should retreat back down below the ice and snow line. Lunch in Ballater instead following by a walk around the town. I concluded I was not really dressed for a walk, and that I would wear a warmer coat next time.
