Porty People and Places

Fifty years ago today President Kennedy was assassinated.
Forty years ago, last month, I was in Dallas where I bought this postcard at the JFK Museum there. It is now in my US Trip Scrapbook, 1973, and I blipped this page of the album on my car windscreen this icy morning. Somehow the cold frosty background seems an apporpriate one for the chill that ricocheted around the world following the assassination.
