Moving The Goalposts

For those of you living off this sceptred isle, there is a Government-approved slaughter of badgers happening at the moment in England. The Government is disappointed at the numbers of badgers killed thus far; a spokesmoron suggested this is because the badgers have 'moved the goalposts'. Certainly, they show remarkable adaptability to the sudden appearance of humans with shotguns and murderous intent.

It looks like one slipped up and has been imprisoned in a cafe bar in Clapham, North Yorkshire.

Yes, there is a (stuffed) badger behind the door. No, I don't know why.
