$200 Beer

I won't be ponying up $200 for one of these, but I did spend $20 for a taste of last year's release of Samuel Adams Utopias.

It's a bit of a stretch to call this a beer, or as the Sam Adams website says, it is a brew that challenges the notion of what a beer can be.

Some states don't allow Utopias to be sold because it doesn't comply with their defined limit of ABV (% alcohol by volume) for beer. Last year the ABV was only (!) 28%.

I wouldn't mind a taste if the opportunity presents itself.
