LYING DOWN on the JOB

Looks like this downy woodpecker found a good snack in this tree limb. His head must have been moving really fast since it’s a bit blurry. He was quite far from me, so I couldn’t detect any movement.

Kind of a slow day for blip subjects - I even tried experimenting with a light box. It's a good thing I have a sense of humor because nothing worked out. Let me tell you, it’s not as easy as it looks! That’s one idea I’ll keep working on since it may come in handy on a dreary winter day.
