Manchester city

We went to Manchester today with the children to see the Christmas markets which have recently started in the centre of the city. This is a revolving, multi storey depiction of the nativity scene, which is now just outside Selfridges.
My grandson W was very interested in the various types of reindeer which were on sale - made of wire, straw or just rows of soft toys. He managed to persuade me to buy him a small soft toy, which now has string reins and a sleigh made from a box!
Lunch out all together, more stalls to look at! Garlic, cinnamon, chocolate, mulled wine were just some of the aromas emanating from them ! A train ride back to their home - the little ones were in bed asleep before seven!
