Plus ça change...

Local hospital

We have a small local town, with a very good hospital. Well, the care is very good; the admin less so. I spent an hour trying to pay the bill today for Friday night's trip (if you'll excuse the pun).

Mr B is determined to be fine for work tomorrow and once we worked out that stairs on crutches are not so scary as you might think, and found a shoe that will fit over his splint, all was well.

Meanwhile I dealt with other stuff, including a long 'meeting' with CarbBoy's French tutor (a friend) where she railed against the rubbish way he's been taught and we generally set the world to rights. I'm still getting used to calling her 'tu', having 'vous-ed' her for years. It's interesting what a step change it has made/resulted from in our friendship.

Now I must sleep. I have to be up to drive Mr B to the airport in a number of hours so small it makes me want to weep.
