Bee Party

Katie's nursery are part of a world record attempt today - Most People Dressed as a Bee in a day. They were part of a collective record previously, but it was taken them from them. As part of a big birthday celebration, they are having a Bee Party day. A local granny who is famous for being dressing as a bee (?!!!??) is going to do a reading of a brand new Usbourne book. The mayor is coming. There's a beautiful tea party set up, including commerative crockery for the children. The children and nursery cook have made a really incredible cake with a tea party from icing on the top. One of the mums has made a huge stand of cupcakes. There's going to be games, dancing, lots and lots of party food and lots of fun. And lots of children dressed as bees. This is Katie in her mummy-made creation. This is also Monkey in his creation. She has been incredibly excited about being a bee for the day. She even has a dance and a song

Edit: I don't have the total but have heard this evening that in fact they broke the world record! Katie is a record breaker! And also, she was on television twice today!
