What a dull dismal day.
Then late afternoon the sun came out just in time to give us a beautiful sunset.
The trouble is that here, surrounded by trees and houses, I can only see this from an upstairs window.
So this is as good as shot I could take.

I would now like to sing the praises of British Gas!!!!!

When we came back from holiday, we noticed that water had been coming out of the overflow of the header tank, and running down the outside wall. Also dripping into the airing cupboard.
It stopped as soon as we started using the water.

However, as we have a service contract with British Gas which includes plumbing, decided to give them a ring this morning.
I got through straight away ( no hanging on the phone for ages!)and at 4pm a very nice young man came and fitted a new ball valve.
(hope that does the trick, but probably won't know until we go away again!)
Just wanted to say "Thank you British Gas."
