Still hanging on.

This lovely trailing fuchsia is still flowering in the hanging basket by the front door, inspite of this mornings frost.
Although it doesn't get any sun, it is a very sheltered spot.

A beautiful day today. So spent the morning power washing the stone flags in front of the house. They were getting very slippy, and took ages to clean.
The worst bit is moving all the pots, before we start. Now just have to move them all back again!!

There is a lovely smell wafting through the house at the moment, as I made my Christmas cakes this afternoon. ( A bit late this year)

Our next door neighbours decided to put up their outside Christmas lights today!
Just a row along the hedge , from their gateway to the front door.
(We can't see them very well ,fortunately, as they are those vivid bright blue ones,
which I don't like.)

Christmas is comimg!! Fast!
