The Man Behind the Mask

We had dinner with friends Mike and Elaine this evening. They are both very accomplished artists. Elaine paints and Mike ( a retired dentist) is a master carver.

Mike has taken lessons from some of the local Native American carvers and many of his carvings are in the traditional style. Here's one of his totems I blipped a few years ago.
