Ali at the Edinburgh Art Festival

A day off today and a trip to the Edinburgh Art Festival. Our son had three drawings on show at the Recoat stand in the festival. This is Ali, one half of the Recoat gallery experience, the other half is his partner Amy, and both have been friends with Russell since Art College in 2000, so any accusations of favouritism are probably accurate.

On the way back home we stopped at the Boat House in South Queensferry for something to eat and were treated to a marvellous view of the Forth Bridge, shrouded in mist - or drizzle if you prefer - it was worth taking a photograph of it. My wee camera can't quite grab the full effect but if you look here, then you should get a fair impression of what we were looking at.

The meal was quite good too...
