Night Light

An unusual night light now, but common place in the last century. It amazes me how people managed to get things done in the winter with only a candle providing light.

We take our electricity and electric lights for granted in the modern age, and although occasionally our supplies are interrupted we live most of our lives in the light.

I had been hoping to take a picture of the full moon tonight. It was looking like it was possible too this morning when I woke to crisp brilliant sunshine, but not tonight we have rain, a mist and it's milder too.

So I thought I'd try finding something that might represent that full moon. It's not a bad photo but it's nothing like the real thing.

Oh well there's always next time.
