One Brief Shining Moment

Standing on our deck at 8 a.m., this was *my view to the north.

Half an hour later, looking out of the guest room window to the south, the sky was leaden gray and cloud-filled, with a brisk wind moving those clouds our way.

I'm glad I got up in time to see this blue sky!

(*The view was much wider than this, but I liked the way the vertical format emphasized the interesting clouds.)
