Encore Acer

The vibrant red of the Acer would brighten up the darkest day. Actually, the weather hasn't been bad (yet). It's overcast and rather grey.

Off into Birmingham shortly. We're going to have a wander round the Frankfurt German Market. I had a brief glance on Friday before we went to the Gustavo Dudamel concert. Tonight it's the visit of Maxim Vengerov, certainly one of the most brilliant violinists - ever. It's been a great week for classical visitors to Symphony Hall - but my next booked concert after this week is not until well into the New Year.
