Porty People and Places

A wee wander up The Firth of Forth this afternoon to catch the Open Day at The Second Forth Crossing project HQ. The views from the new traffic control building on the site of the former Forth Bridges Motel were spoilt by the low cloud and drizzle that descended as we arrived. The model, unaffected by the weather, gives a good impression of what the three bridges will look like - each bridge built in a different century! (For any local blippers who wish to go, this free exhibition is on again tomorrow from 1000 to 1600.)
