It's just one of those grey rainy days that makes the colors in the garden so vivid and gives this white iris a bit more definition. The rain may have thwarted our plans to watch the Laurels Horse Carriage Races, but we still managed to walk the Main St of Chester County's Mushroom Festival, in Kennett Square. I must say things have changed in the few years we had been away. I have never visited a festival where admission was charged. It seemed a bit outrageous since we still had to pay exorbitant prices for food, rides, and anything else the 100+ vendors had to sell. Despite this, we did have a nice time, found some really good healthy food, and even got a free massage.
