One thing I miss about walking to uni every morning (now that I cycle quite often), is the way the light shines on the south of the city and how pretty the sky often looks as I head towards King's Buildings. When cycling, I'm concentrating on not getting hit by cars so I don't tend to stare dreamily at the sky much. But now I'm on the side of the flat where I can appreciate the sunset, so here is what I could see from my window as I sat down to a cup of Lady Grey tea and Northanger Abbey.
On another note, today my group started on our three-week computational astrophysics project, and we were simulating the evolution of dark matter over time in the universe. And that looks pretty too!
